This book warms my heart because the author clearly cares about people, animals and human rights. I read it from cover to cover in one sitting and I felt engrossed in what I was reading. I love the messages and twists. It was easy to read and clever.

A beautiful collection of raw and emotive poems presented in a lovely simplistic format that's very easy to read. I particularly relate to the ones about animal activism and think these will be very eye opening to some people. I love how, despite some of the challenging themes discussed throughout, the the book ends with a chapter about gratitude.

Praise & Reviews

What an amazing array of short verses.
At times brutally honest, but each poem Inspiring you to look into your soul.
An author wise beyond her years handling sensitivity with honesty and a huge heart behind those thought provoking words.
Will certainly be recommending this uniquely talented writer.

Fabulous, fierce and very, very brave writing.

This selection of poems was well written and very honest. I often ran the gamut of emotions but also found myself reading again and again. Thank you for a wonderful and inspiring book.

‘Not Wholesome Content’ reads like a book of war poetry, if the war is how to live in this heteronormative patriarchy where mental illness and chronic pain still carry huge stigma & living a full life as a woman is still as hard as ever in many ways.
